b110b06447 brw: introduce a new register type for the address register
We want to reuse the brw::nr field as a virtual address register
identifer. So we can't use brw::file=ARF brw::nr=ADDRESS.

5ca883505e brw: add a NOP in between WHILE instructions on LNL
This is a workaround that is still in progress, see HSD 22020521218.
If we don't have these NOPs we may see rendering corruption or even
GPU hangs.

While we still don't fully understand the issue from the hardware
point of view, let's have this workaround so we can pass CTS and move
things forward. If we need to change this later, we can. Besides, the
impact is minimal. Shaderdb/fossilize report no changes for this
patch.

On our Blackops trace, the lack of this patch causes corruption in fog
rendering (rectangles where fog was supposed to be shown don't show
the fog).

On dEQP-VK.graphicsfuzz.cov-array-copies-loops-with-limiters, without
this patch we get a GPU hang.

9200fb966c intel/brw: Record that SHADER_OPCODE_SCRATCH_HEADER uses g0
The generator code for emitting legacy scratch headers was implicitly
using g0 as a source. But the IR wasn't indicating any usage of g0,
which means the liveness isn't properly tracked at the IR level.

It works because we reserve g0 as permanently live for the whole
program. In order to stop doing that, we need to record it properly.

ed3e4c16dc intel/brw: Do not create empty basic blocks when removing instructions
If there's only a single instruction in a basic block, then removing it
would create an empty block. We seem to have trouble representing those
as there are no instructions with an IP inside the block; several places
mess up connections. While most blocks end in control flow instructions
(which are rarely eliminated), ones preceding a DO instruction may end
in an ordinary instruction. This makes such blocks tricky to merge with
adjacent blocks - they may be between loops. Any optimization pass may
may find such an instruction and want to eliminate it, and most of them
are unprepared to perform such CFG link surgery. Nor do we want to make
every pass aware of this issue.

To work around this, we simply replace an instruction with a NOP when
removing it from a block containing only that instruction, leaving the
block in place.

ff89e83178 intel/brw: Lower VGRFs to FIXED_GRFs earlier
Moves the lowering of VGRFs into FIXED_GRFs from the code generation
to (almost) right after the register allocation.

This will allow: (1) later passes not worry about VGRFs (and what they
mean in a post reg alloc phase) and (2) make easier to add certain
types of validation post reg alloc phase using the backend IR.

Note that a couple of passes still take advantage of seeing "allocated
VGRFs", so perform lowering after they run.

1497f4e0c2 intel/fs: Don't include sync.nop in instruction count statistics
With the advent of software scoreboarding, we emit sync instructions
in various places to synchronize the execution pipelines. This results
in assembly being littered with a bunch of sync.nop instructions. That
means that when you reorder anything in the program, the scoreboarding
changes, and the number of sync.nops can vary wildly - even if the code
isn't really materially better or worse. This makes it hard to use
tools like shader-db or fossil-db on post-Icelake platforms.

For now, exclude sync.nops from the instruction count statistic. One
day we may want to consider improving the software scoreboarding pass
to emit fewer redundant sync.nop instructions, at which point tracking
this as a separate stat might be useful. For now though, it's simply
cluttering and confusing our results.
