d75a36a9ee glsl: remove do_copy_propagation_elements() optimisation pass
Since 13b859de do_copy_propagation_elements() has a flaw where
the time it takes to complete grows exponentially slowers as the number
of nested loops increases. It can also hurt rather than help verses
just letting NIR optimise the code. So if the NIR linker is enabled we
let it handle it instead.

87ec94f6aa glsl: Move lower_vector_insert to GLSL-to-NIR.
We already have a nir_builder equivalent for generating this code, just
use that instead of doing it in GLSL.

No change on r300 shader-db.

24607ce7d3 glsl: Remove lower_vec_index_to_swizzle.
GLSL's lower_vector_derefs already does this, and even if it didn't
nir_vector_extract() would when glsl-to-nir happens.

No effect on freedreno shader-db.

a2a6995352 glsl: remove opt_structure_splitting.
nir_lower_vars_to_ssa will split temp structs up anyway.  This fixes a bug
where mediump wouldn't be propagated to the split vars.

The effect is tiny, I think just shuffling some code scheduling from
optimizing at different places.  Affects Natural Selection 2, Serious Sam
3, 3dmark slingshot, and Lego Legacy.

a19c0ce9b2 glsl: Remove opt_array_splitting.
nir_lower_vars_to_ssa will split temp arrays up anyway.  Fixes a bug where
split arrays wouldn't get their precision qualifier.

Helps mostly Android and skia shaders.  Also affects Civ5, Witcher 2, and
Borderlands 2.

762d377292 mesa/glsl: Add support for NV_shader_noperspective_interpolation
With EXT_gpu_shader4 the support is already in place, we just
have to allow it in glsl and expose the extension name.

74aea0b840 glsl: Remove optimize_swizzles.
It will get turned into SSA and copy-propagated in NIR, no need to walk
the IR collapsing it here.

d09a37ef54 glsl: remove never true do_dead_code() parameter

f3df3d4c80 glsl: Make all drivers take the GLSLOptimizeConservatively path.
Now that all consumers of GLSL use NIR, make the remaining drivers take
the path that relies on NIR to really do optimization.

nouveau steam shader-db runtime -6.69631% +/- 1.29235% (n=12).
No change on shader-db there.

3868b30fc4 glsl/parser: extract consts/exts/api out of context at start.
This stores these pointers separately. in theory now gl_context
can be made more opaque later, if we split header files ups.

1352e0ba0c mesa/*: add a shader primitive type to get away from GL types.
This creates an internal shader_prim enum, I've fixed up most
users to use it instead of GL types.

don't store the enum in shader_info as it changes size, and confuses
other things.

c2ead6c9b5 glsl: Delete the vectorization opt pass.
Nothing uses it, and i965 was the last thing to.  Even if I enable it for
softpipe or crocus, it quickly causes NIR validation failures in shader-db
from swizzles outside the bounds of vectors.  Retire it in favor of
nir_opt_vectorize().

4364449677 mesa: add shader source SHA1s that are propagated up to glCompileShader

e607205af0 glsl: force_glsl_version to shaders with no defined version
If a shader has no defined version force_glsl_version was
previous ignored and the shader would default to 110. This updates
the code so that those shaders are forced to a new level also.

We reused the existing code to make sure a sensible value is set
for the version.

A spec bug was resolved confirming the original behaviour. Also it
seems the game Foundation no longer depends on the incorrect
behaviour.

6c8cc9be12 glsl: default to compat shaders in compat profile
If the shader does not specify "core" or "compatibility" in shaders
above 1.40 we were defaulting these shaders to core shaders when
in a compat profile. Instead default to compat shaders.

This brings us inline with the behaviour of the binary drivers and
fixes a crash on start-up for the game Foundation.

282a1e6288 glsl: don't lower to mediump for desktop OpenGL
Desktop OpenGL ignores all precision qualifiers.

Also, the lowering pass doesn't work if precision qualifiers are not set,
which is only possible with desktop OpenGL, causing random behavior.

ea289d1502 mesa: extend GLSLZeroInit semantics
This commit introduces a new way to zero-init variables but keep the
old one to not break any existing behavior.

With this change GLSLZeroInit becomes an integer, with the following
possible values:
 - 0: no 0 init
 - 1: current behavior
 - 2: new behavior. Similar to 1, except ir_var_function_out type are
      0 initialized but ir_var_shader_out.

The rationale behind 2 is: zero initializing ir_var_shader_out can
prevent some optimization where out variables are completely eliminated
when not written to.

On the other hand, zero initializing "ir_var_function_out" has no
effect on correct shaders but typically helps shadertoy since the main
function is:

   void mainImage(out vec4 fragColor) { ... }

So with this change we're sure that fragColor will always get a value.

e7434c0a06 glsl: Inline builtins in a separate pass
Previously, the ir_call functions for builtin functions were replaced
with the inline implementation immediately after being added to the
instruction list. This patch replaces that with a separate pass that
lowers them after the conversion from AST to IR is complete. This will
be useful to be able to insert some handling for the precision lowering
pass before the inlining. This needs to happen because the precision
of the operations in the inlined implementation depends on the highest
precision of all of the arguments to the call.
