0d635ccc91 glx: Implement GLX_EXT_no_config_context
This is the GLX counterpart to EGL_KHR_no_config_context. Contexts may
now be created without reference to an fbconfig, in which case it is
treated as compatible with any fbconfig (and thus any GLX drawable).

glx: Fix compilation with GLX_USE_WINDOWSGL
Sadly, the GLX_USE_APPLEGL and GLX_USE_WINDOWSGL cases are not identical
(because GLX_USE_WINDOWSGL uses vtables rather than a maze of ifdefs)

Include <sys/time.h> again, as functions prototyped by it are used in
the GLX_USE_WINDOWSGL path.

Make the include guard around the __glxGetMscRate() definition match the
one at it's declaration again, as it's referenced from dri_common.c
which is built for GLX_USE_WINDOWSGL.

5bc509363b glx: make xf86vidmode mandatory for direct rendering
Currently we detect the module and if missing, the glXGetMsc* API is
effectively a stub, always returning false.

This is what effectively has been happening with our meson build :-(

Thus users have no chance of using it - they cannot even distinguish
if the failure is due to a misconfigured build.

There's no reason for keeping xf86vidmode optional - it has been
available in all distributions for years.

16f1023037 glx: Demand success from CreateContext requests (v2)
GLXCreate{,New}Context, like most X resource creation requests, does not
emit a reply and therefore is emitted into the X stream asynchronously.
However, unlike most resource creation requests, the GLXContext we
return is a handle to library state instead of an XID. So if context
creation fails for any reason - say, the server doesn't support indirect
contexts - then we will fail in strange places for strange reasons.

We could make every GLX entrypoint robust against half-created contexts,
or we could just verify that context creation worked. Reuse the
__glXIsDirect code to do this, as a cheap way of verifying that the
XID is real.

glXCreateContextAttribsARB solves this by using the _checked version of
the xcb command, so effectively this change makes the classic context
creation paths as robust as CreateContextAttribs.

faa29c0e24 Make glXChooseFBConfig handle unspecified sRGB correctly
Make glXChooseFBConfig properly handle the case where the only matching
configs have the sRGB flag set, but no sRGB attribute is specified.

Since 6e06e281, the sRGBcapable flag is now actually compared, using
MATCH_DONT_CARE.

7b0f912e added defaulting of sRGBcapable to GL_FALSE in
__glXInitializeVisualConfigFromTags(), to handle servers which don't report
it, but this function is also used by glXChooseFBConfig(), so sRGBcapable is
implicitly false when not explicitly specified.

(This can cause e.g. glxinfo to fail to find anything matching the simple
config it looks for if all the candidates have the sRGB flag set to true.
I'm assuming this doesn't happen 'normally' as candidate configs with and
without sRGB true are available)

Move this defaulting to createConfigsFromProperties(), and set the default
for glXChooseFBConfig() in init_fbconfig_for_chooser() to GLX_DONT_CARE.

The GLX specification says about glXDestroyPixmap:

"The storage for the GLX pixmap will be freed when it is not current

So arguably, functions like glXSwapIntervalMESA can be called after
glXDestroyPixmap has been called for the currently bound GLXPixmap.
In that case, the GLXDRIDrawable no longer exists, and so we just skip
those calls.

0c94ed0987 glx: Perform check for valid fbconfig against proper X-Screen.
Commit cf804b4455
('glx: fix crash with bad fbconfig') introduced a check
in glXCreateNewContext() if the given config is a valid
fbconfig.

Unfortunately the check always checks the given config against
the fbconfigs of the DefaultScreen(dpy), instead of the
actual X-Screen specified in the config config->screen.

This leads to failure whenever a GL context is created
on a non-DefaultScreen(dpy), e.g., on X-Screen 1 of
a multi-x-screen setup, where the default screen is
typically 0.

Fix this by using config->screen instead of DefaultScreen(dpy).

Tested to fix context creation failure on a dual-x-screen setup.

5a459a036e Fix build of appleglx
Define GLX_USE_APPLEGL, as config/darwin used to, to turn on specific code to
use the applegl direct renderer

Convert src/glx/apple/Makefile to automake

Since the applegl libGL is now built by linking libappleglx into libGL, rather
than by linking selected files into a special libGL:

- Remove duplicate code in apple/glxreply.c and apple/apple_glx.c. This makes
apple/glxreply.c empty, so remove it

- Some indirect rendering code is already guarded by !GLX_USE_APPLEGL, but we
need to add those guards to indirect_glx.c, indirect_init.c (via it's
generator), render2.c and vertarr.c so they don't generate anything

Fix and update various includes

glapi_gentable.c (which is only used on darwin), should be included in shared
glapi as well, to provide _glapi_create_table_from_handle()

Note that neither swrast nor indirect is supported in the APPLEGL path at the
moment, which makes things more complex than they need to be. More untangling
is needed to allow that

v2: Correct apple/Makefile.am for srcdir != builddir
