Every caller of pan_shader_lower_texture() immediatly called
pan_shader_postprocess() and every caller of pan_shader_postprocess()
lowered textures except blend shaders and those don't texture anyway.

Most of the infrastructure was already in place for 8 bit (we just
had to add the AFBC mode to use). We also needed to add support for
the 10 bit format (X6R10X6G10_X6R10X6B10_UNORM). Note that this
10 bit format is only supported for AFBC, for linear we have to fall
back to the old multi-plane way of handling it.

We had assumed AFBC superblocks were always tiled in an 8x8 pattern,
but this is true only for 32bpp and lower formats; for larger formats
the pattern is 4x4. This isn't an issue yet, but will be when we
support R16G16B16A16 in AFBC.

With this commit we do two things:
* Remove pan_shader_info.fs.outputs_written because it is not used,
as there is already pan_shader_info.outputs_written
* For pan_shader_info.fs.outputs_read we direcly copy the nir
info.outputs_read, without a shift, for consistency and also
because it is not really required.

If there isn't any modifier info coming from the compositor, we go
through our internal image path and pick the best modifier that
supports the image. This causes problems on X11, as it actually
expects the image to be in a linear layout.
Explicitly set the modifier to linear for legacy scanout images,
which specifically indicates that the image doesn't have an
explicit DRM modifier and we should do the safe thing by using
linear.
The naming becomes confusing for scanout with this change,
so the flag is now split into two separate flags, one for controlling
the AFBC optimalness called wsi, the other more directly called
legacy_scanout, which is used for enforcing the linear mod.

On panvk, we can use the render area to set fbd bbox extents
instead of setting them based on image sizes. Doing this improves
partial updates (eg. loadOp:load with renderArea < image_size) of
AFBC render targets.
This commit introduces a new structure for this setting and uses
it on both panvk and panfrost. We can't reuse the existing extent
here as that is based on viewport+scissor, which can change within
a renderpass/batch, which causes issues on panfrost.
No functional changes for panfrost, as it doesn't have an equivalent
to renderpass::renderArea so we can't do the same thing there, it
still uses the entire framebuffer extent.

as it can be easily confused with the framebuffer bounding box
otherwise.

Without this, somebody trying to map a buffer for write by the CPU would
fail. This is not common to do in hardware driver environments, but it
shouldn't be disallowed, and there's no downside to allowing it.
I did skip virgl, because that's one where I don't know for sure if there
wouldn't be a downside to allowing RDWR (there are other virt exports
where RDWR is gated on a mappable flag).
This is a follow-up to !37088 to keep copy and paste from introducing the
same bug anywhere else.

Thanks to the decorrelation of compression mode and texture format,
AFBC is type-agnostic on v9+. We can thus safely allow UINT, SINT and
SNORM variants. The FLOAT variants are still not supported though.

compression mode select the actual size.

One we have selected a pan_afbc_mode (AKA AFBC format) for an image,
there's no reason for it change, so let's cache that at the
pan_image_layout level and re-use it when we can instead of doing
the pipe format -> afbc mode conversion over and over again.

Mapping Z32_FLOAT to R32F works fine until we start using AFBC(Z32),
which triggers DATA_INVALID faults. That's not an issue on v9+
because the compression mode and texture format are decorrelated,
but we need this change if we want to support AFBC(Z32) on v7.

Testing if a modifier is supported for a set of image properties is not
enough when we're supposed to pick the best modifier among a selection
of modifiers. Extend the image/mod logic to report if a modifier is
optimal when supported.
This forces us to pass extra usage information through a new
pan_image_usage object. When this usage info is missing (NULL), the
mod layer assumes a set of usage that would make the modifier optimal.
Note that the usage info also allows us to reject a few more cases
that would otherwise need to be checked by the frontend.

The AFBC mode describes the mode of the plane-format, which is what is
stored in memory, not the image view format (which is the
interpretation of the *decompressed* memory).
This requires us to move the special S8 cases to a separate
pan_afbc_decompression_mode() helper, since those are
decompression-only mode which we need to view Z24S8 (AKA RGBA8)
as X24S8, or R8 as R8R8. While at it, get rid of PAN_AFBC_MODE_S8,
since it's not a thing in practice.
No Fixes or Cc-stable tag here, because things were working just
fine before that in the gallium driver, and AFBC is still an opt-in
feature in panvk.

The current code assumes 2M and 4k pages. If an allocation request
is larger than 2M, allocation will be aligned to 2M, otherwise to
4k.
The new code is informed by pgsize_bitmap. The allocation is
aligned to a particular page boundary, if the request is at least
as large as that page boundary. Note that given
pgsize_bitmap = PGSIZE_4K | PGSIZE_2M
2M requests will now be aligned to a 2M boundary, rather than 4k,
which is the case with the current code.

When the host process is 32-bit, size_t can not express all of the

This way we report the *actual* tilebuffer sizes rather than reporting
twice the amount and then correcting for it later on. The distinction
really only matters on V4 and V6 GPUs, but let's get it correct.
This shouln't have any functional changes, it just makes it easier to
reason about what each GPU supports.
While we're at it, correct the typo in the comment about what gens
supports disabling pipelining. It's *not* supported on V6.

When using formats with less than 32-bits per pixel, we pad the
tile-buffer to a multiple of 32-bits so we can store additional bits
used by dithering.
Account for this when computing the max MSAA setting.

Make sure that depth and color buffers have the same number of
samples. This *should* be guaranteed by the higher levels, but
in the case of a bug we want to notice quickly (and in fact

pan_image_test_props() checks all the image properties at once, and
pan_image_test_modifier_with_format() just a <modifier,format> pair.
This will allow us to use the check done in pan_mod instead of
duplicating the same set of rules in panvk/panfrost and possibly having
one that's ahead of the other.
There are still checks we can't do at the pan_mod/image level, like
anything involving format lowering, but that's okay.

We now have lower_texture_early and lower_texture.
lower_texture_early handle nir_lower_tex and (in the future) could handle
anything that is backend specific that need to happen before nir_lower_io.
lower_texture handles actual lowering of backend specific things that
must happen after nir_lower_tex and nir_lower_io.
This allows us to finally not run nir_lower_tex two times in panvk.

The enum pan_earlyzs is just enum mali_pixel_kill under a different
name, which was needed because the enum was missing from common.xml.
However, because pan_earlyzs_lut is used in files that are both included
with PAN_ARCH unset and set to values including values lower than 6, we
get issues with the way genxml/common_pack.h gets included, resulting in
the enum not being defined.
We don't really depend on the values for this, only on the size. So
let's just use unsigned values in the struct instead, to side-step the
issue.

While this was also using translate_zs_format() before the commit in
question, that's didn't lead to any real issues, because only a single
value was legal here before. While it's not entirely in-spec to use
other values, it seems the HW doesn't mind.
But when this logic was reworked, the typed field was used instead. This
lead to a compiler warning on Clang.
Let's correct this properly here, rather than papering over the compiler
warning.

Using a different name also makes sense because the behavior of the
macro was extending the one of __builtin_unreachable() anyway, and it

This change improves the chances of building mesa with the C23 standard,
which for instance is the default in recent AOSP versions.

Payload size retrieval can greatly benefit from using SIMD to sum up
the 16 6-bit packed sizes. This commit proposes an optimized version
using Arm A64 NEON intrinsics. This was measured on a Rock 5B to be ~2
times faster than the original.

The AFBC-P payload layout is currently retrieved in 2 steps starting
with the payload sizes retrieval using a CS job on the GPU followed by
a CPU pass to set the payload offsets. This commit proposes to do both
steps on the CPU at once using a new utility function
pan_afbc_payload_layout_packed().
A new utility function pan_afbc_payload_uncompressed_size() is added
to help retrieve the uncompressed size from a pipe_format and
modifier. Both the CPU and GPU versions use it now.
A new AFBC-P driconf option "pan_afbcp_gpu_payload_sizes" is added to
fallback to the original payload sizes retrieval on the GPU.

Add an AFBC header block structure pan_afbc_headerblock to improve
readability when accessing header blocks. get_superblock_size(), which
will be used for AFBC packing in the next commits, has been moved to
pan_afbc.h and renamed to pan_afbc_payload_size() so that it can be
tested. Other utility functions pan_afbc_header_subblock_size() and
pan_afbc_header_subblock_uncompressed_size() hasve been added to help
retrieve the compressed or uncompressed size of a subblock from a
header. This commit also fixes a few issues like arch handling.

Adds pixel rate, texel rate, and fma rate to the model table for v9+
GPUs. This will be exposed via VK_ARM_shader_core_properties and
GL_ARM_shader_core_properties later.

Rather than splitting the GPU ID in two, let the GPU ID users do that
when they need.
We also rework the model detection to use a mask so we can customize
the mask if the version major/minor fields are required to differentiate
two GPUs with the same arch major/minor and product major.
