d11e4738a8 anv/allocator: Add a start_offset to anv_state_pool
This allows a pool's allocations to start somewhere other than the base
address.  Our first real use of this will be to use a negative offset
for the binding table pool to make it so that the offset is baked into
the pool and the code in anv_batch_chain.c doesn't have to understand
pool offsetting.

ee4cdef9ae anv: Re-use one old BT block in reset_batch_bo_chain
We intentionally throw away all but one BT block but then we set
cmd_buffer->bt_block to ANV_STATE_NULL instead of the one we hung on to.
This causes the command buffer to immediately re-emit STATE_BASE_ADDRESS
the first time a BT is needed for no good reason.

70e8064e13 anv: Add an anv_physical_device field to anv_device
Having to always pull the physical device from the instance has been
annoying for almost as long as the driver has existed.  It also won't
work in a world where we ever have more than one physical device.  This
commit adds a new field called "physical" to anv_device and switches
every location where we use device->instance->physicalDevice to use the
new field instead.

6ebf677cfd anv: Always add in EXEC_OBJECT_WRITE when specified in extra_flags
Otherwise, we're trusting in the execbuf_add_bo which sets
EXEC_OBJECT_WRITE to to always be the first one that gets called.  This
is likely true for fences but it seems somewhat fragile.

bc9d7836bc anv: Use an anv_state for the next binding table
This is a bit more natural because we're already getting an anv_state
most places in the pipeline.  The important part here, however, is that
we're no longer calling anv_block_pool_map on every alloc_binding_table
call.  While it's probably pretty cheap, it is potentially a linear walk
over the list of BOs and it was showing up in profiles.

246261f0ad anv: prepare the driver for delayed submissions
Timeline semaphore introduce support for wait before signal behavior,
which means that it is now allowed to call vkQueueSubmit() with wait
semaphores not yet submitted for execution. Our kernel driver requires
all of the wait primitives to be created before calling the execbuf
ioctl. As a result, we must delay submissions in the userspace driver.
This change store the necessary information to be able to delay a
VkSubmitInfo submission to the kernel driver.

3da798c9f1 anv: prepare driver to report submission error through queues
When we will submit to i915 from a submission thread, we won't be able
to directly report the error to the user (in particular through the
debug report callbacks). So prepare 2 paths to report errors device ->
notifying the user immediately, queue -> notifying the user the next
time an entry point is called.

In this change we still report directly for both paths, this will
change in the next commit.

048f0690ee anv: invalidate file descriptor of semaphore sync fd at vkQueueSubmit
We always close the in_fence at the end the anv_cmd_buffer_execbuf()
so when we take it from the semaphore, let's not forget to invalidate
it.

Note that the code leaks the fence_in if we get any error before
reaching the close(). Let's fix that in another patch or better,
rewrite the whole thing!

b3c0b1b218 anv: Use a bitset for tracking residency
Now that we can conveniently map between GEM handles and struct anv_bo
pointers, we can use a simple bitset for residency tracking instead of
the complex hash set.  This shaves about 3% off of a CPU-limited example
running with the Dawn WebGPU implementation.

6f4fa81769 anv: Handle state pool relocations using "wrapper" BOs
Instead of depending on a mutable BO in the state pool for handling
growing state pools, add a concept of "wrapper" BOs which just wrap an
actual BO.  This way, the wrapper can exist once for all of time and we
can put it in relocation lists even if the actual BO it references gets
swapped out.

We're not THAT strapped for space that we can't burn one extra bit for
a boolean.  If we're really worried about it, we can always shrink the
flags field to 16 bits because the kernel only uses 7 currently.

We have to go through and rewrite them all anyway so it doesn't do us
any good to put them in the list in anv_reloc_list_add.  Also, for state
pools the handles are likely wrong by the time vkQueueSubmit is called.

c4be72934e anv: Fix a relocation race condition
Previously, we would read the offset from the BO in anv_reloc_list_add
to generate the presumed offset and then again in the caller to compute
the 64-bit address to write into the buffer.  However, if the offset
somehow changed between these two points, the presumed offset would no
longer match the written offset.  This is unlikely to actually ever be a
problem in practice because the presumed offset gets recorded first and
so if the written address is wrong then the presumed offset is almost
certainly wrong and the relocation will trigger.  However, it's much
safer to simply have anv_reloc_list_add return the 64-bit address.

52aa7f3e05 anv: Reduce the minimum number of relocations
The original value of 256 was under the assumption that you're a batch
buffer which is likely going to have a large number of relocations.
However, pipeline objects on Gen7 will have at most 6 relocations (one
per shader stage and one for the workaround BO) so this is a lot of
per-pipeline wasted space.

a3153162a9 anv: Delay allocation of relocation lists
The old relocation list code always allocated 256 relocations and a hash
set up-front without knowing whether or not we really need them.  In
particular, in the softpin case, this is two fairly large allocations
that we don't need to be making.  Also, for pipeline objects on haswell
where we don't have softpin, we don't need relocations unless scratch is
used so this is extra data per-pipeline.  Instead, we should do it
on-demand.  This shaves 3.5% off of a cpu-limited example running with
the Dawn WebGPU implementation.

The anv_batch_bo contents are linked one to another, and when printing
we have to start with the first of those.  Since in `u_vector` new
elements are added to the head, to get the first element we need the
vector's tail.

4a61be24fe anv: only resort to sync fds internally with no syncobj support
We can rely on only one kind of synchronization object (drm-syncobj)
when it is available. This reduces the number of file descriptors we
use in our implementation.

This will be required later for timeline semaphores implementation, at
this point we won't ever want to use anything else but syncobjs.

83b943cc2f anv: Make all VkDeviceMemory BOs resident permanently
We spend a lot of time in the driver adding things to hash sets to track
residency.  The reality is that a properly built Vulkan app uses large
memory objects and sub-allocates from them.  In a typical frame, most of
if not all of those allocations are going to be resident for the entire
frame so we're really not saving ourselves much by tracking fine-grained
residency.  Just throwing everything in the validation list does make it
a little bit more expensive inside the kernel to walk the list and
ensure that all our VA is in order.  However, without relocations, the
overhead of that is pretty small.

If we ever do run into a memory pressure situation where the fine-
grained residency could even potentially help, we would likely be
swapping one page out to make room for another within the draw call and
performance is totally lost at that point.  We're better off swapping
out other apps and just letting ours run a whole frame.

f39dad7e4e anv: Validate the list of BOs from the block pool.
We now have multiple BOs in the block pool, but sometimes we still
reference only the first one in some instructions, and use relative
offsets in others. So we must be sure to add all the BOs from the block
pool to the validation list when submitting commands.

e3dc56d731 anv: Update usage of block_pool->bo.
Change block_pool->bo to be a pointer, and update its usage everywhere.
This makes it simpler to switch it later to a list of BOs.

f5bab06428 anv/batch_chain: Don't start a new BO just for BATCH_BUFFER_START
Previously, we just went ahead and emitted MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START as
normal.  If we are near enough to the end, this can cause us to start a
new BO just for the MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START which messes up chaining.  We
always reserve enough space at the end for an MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START so
we can just increment cmd_buffer->batch.end prior to emitting the
command.

7a89a0d9ed anv: Use separate MOCS settings for external BOs
On Broadwell and above, we have to use different MOCS settings to allow
the kernel to take over and disable caching when needed for external
buffers.  On Broadwell, this is especially important because the kernel
can't disable eLLC so we have to do it in userspace.  We very badly
don't want to do that on everything so we need separate MOCS for
external and internal BOs.

In order to do this, we add an anv-specific BO flag for "external" and
use that to distinguish between buffers which may be shared with other
processes and/or display and those which are entirely internal.  That,
together with an anv_mocs_for_bo helper lets us choose the right MOCS
settings for each BO use.

f430a37fa7 intel: decoder: unify MI_BB_START field naming
The batch decoder looks for a field with a particular name to decide
whether an MI_BB_START leads into a second batch buffer level. Because
the names are different between Gen7.5/8 and the newer generation we
fail that test and keep on reading (invalid) instructions.

a0b133286a anv/batch_chain: Simplify secondary batch return chaining
Previously, we did this weird thing where we left space and an empty
relocation for use in a hypothetical MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START that would be
added to the secondary later.  Then, when it came time to chain it into
the primary, we would back that out and emit an MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START.
This worked well but it was always a bit hacky, fragile and ugly.  This
commit instead adds a helper for rewriting the MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START at
the end of an anv_batch_bo and we use that helper for both batch bo list
cloning and handling returns from secondaries.  The new helper doesn't
actually modify the batch in any way but instead just adjusts the
relocation as needed.

4f20c665b4 anv/batch_chain: Call batch_bo_finish at the end of end_batch_buffer
The only reason we were calling it in the middle was that one of the
cases for figuring out the secondary command buffer execution type
wanted batch_bo->length which gets set by batch_bo_finish.  It's easy
enough to recalculate and now batch_bo_finish is called in a sensible
location.

27cc68d9e9 anv: For pinned BOs, skip relocations, but track bo usage
References to pinned BOs won't need to be relocated at a later
point, so just write the final value of the reference into the bo
directly.

Add a `set` to the relocation lists for tracking dependencies that
were previously tracked by relocations. When a batch is executed, we
add the referenced pinned BOs to the exec list.

c7db0ed4e9 anv: Use a separate pool for binding tables when soft pinning
Soft pinning lets us satisfy the binding table address
requirements without using both sides of a growing state_pool.

If you do use both sides of a state pool, then you need to read
the state pool's center_bo_offset (with the device mutex held) to
know the final offset of relocations that target the state pool
bo.

By having a separate pool for binding tables that only grows in
the forward direction, the center_bo_offset is always 0 and
relocations don't need an update pass to adjust relocations with
the mutex held.
