Julian Bouzas 1d2fe9b62d module-settings: remove 'settings.persistent' option
This patch removes the 'settings.persistent' option from the configuration as it
only allowed making settings persistent globally instead of individually. This
issue has been addressed in a simpler way by creating a 'persistent-sm-settings'
metadata. If a user wants to make a setting persistent, he can change the
'persistent-sm-settings' metadata object, if the user does not want to make a
persistent change, he can use the 'sm-settings' metadata object. Any changes in
the 'persistent-sm-settings' metadata will be also reflected in the 'sm-settings'
metadata object.

WirePlumber is a modular session / policy manager for
`PipeWire <https://pipewire.org>`_ and a GObject-based high-level library
that wraps PipeWire's API, providing convenience for writing the daemon's
modules as well as external tools for managing PipeWire.

The WirePlumber daemon implements the session & policy management service.
It follows a modular design, having plugins that implement the actual
management functionality.

The WirePlumber Library provides API that allows you to extend the WirePlumber
daemon, to write management or status tools for PipeWire
(apps that don't do actual media streaming) and to write custom session managers
for embedded devices.
