7054c1b7fd nir/linker: pack varyings with different interpolation qualifier
Driver like radeonsi load varying in a scalar manner, so prefer to pack

3cc58e6470 nir: Add and use some deref mode helpers
NIR derefs currently have exactly one variable mode. This is about to
change so we can handle OpenCL generic pointers. In order to transition
safely, we need to audit every deref->mode check. This commit adds a
set of helpers that provide more nuanced mode checks and converts most
of NIR to use them.

For simple cases, we add nir_deref_mode_is and nir_deref_mode_is_one_of
helpers. These can be used in passes which don't have to bother with
generic pointers and just want to know what mode a thing is. If the
pass ever encounters generic pointers in a way that this check would be
unsafe, it will assert-fail to alert developers that they need to think
harder about things and fix the pass.

For more complex passes which require a more nuanced understanding of
modes, we add nir_deref_mode_may_be and nir_deref_mode_must_be helpers
which accurately describe the compiler's best knowledge about the given
deref. Unfortunately, we may not be able to exactly identify the mode
in a generic pointers scenario so we have to be very careful when we use
these. Conversion of these passes is left to later commits.

For the case of mass lowering of a particular mode (nir_lower_explicit_io
is one good example), we add nir_deref_mode_is_in_set. This is also
pretty assert-happy like nir_deref_mode_is but is for a set containment
comparison on deref modes where you expect the deref to either be all-in
or all-out.

d70fff99c5 nir: Use a single list for all shader variables
Instead of having separate lists of variables, roughly sorted by mode,
use a single list for all shader-level NIR variables. This makes a few
list walks a bit longer here and there but list walks aren't a very
common thing in NIR at all. On the other hand, it makes a lot of things
like validation, printing, etc. way simpler. Also, there are a number
of cases where we move variables from inputs/outputs to globals and this
makes it way easier because we no longer have to move them between
lists. We only have to deal with that if moving them from the shader to
a nir_function_impl.

36e000d832 nir: Fix overlapping vars in nir_assign_io_var_locations()
When handling two variables with overlapping locations, we process the
one with lower location first, and then extend the location ->
driver_location map to guarantee that it's contiguous for the second
variable too. But the loop had the wrong bound, so we weren't extending
the map 100%, which could lead to problems later such as an incorrect
num_inputs. The loop index i is an index into the slots of the variable,
so we need to stop at the final slot of the variable (var_size) instead
of the number of unassigned slots.

b155f74d7b nir: fix nir_remove_unused_varyings()
We were only setting the used mask for the first component of a
varying. Since the linking opts split vectors into scalars this
has mostly worked ok.

However this causes an issue where for example if we split a
struct on one side of the interface but not the other, then we
can possibly end up removing the first components on the side
that was split and then incorrectly remove the whole struct
on the other side of the varying.

With this change we simply mark all 4 components for each slot
used by a struct. We could possibly make this more fine gained
but that would require a more complex change.

This fixes a bug in Strange Brigade on RADV when tessellation

e426c3a6cb nir: Record non-vector/scalar varyings as unmovable when compacting
In some cases, we can end up with varying structs that aren't split to
their member variables. nir_compact_varyings attempted to record these
as unmovable, so it would leave them be. Unfortunately, it didn't do
it right for non-vector/scalar types. It set the mask to:

   ((1 << (elements * dmul)) - 1) << var->data.location_frac

where elements is the number of vector elements. For structures and
other non-vector/scalars, elements is 0...so the whole mask became 0.

This caused nir_compact_varyings to assign other varyings on top of
the structure varying's location (as it appeared to take up no space).

To combat this, we just set elements to 4 for non-vector/scalar types,
so that the entire slot gets marked as unmovable.

d0c6ef2793 nir: rename global/local to private/function memory
the naming is a bit confusing no matter how you look at it. Within SPIR-V
"global" memory is memory accessible from all threads. glsl "global" memory
normally refers to shader thread private memory declared at global scope. As
we already use "shared" for memory shared across all thrads of a work group
the solution where everybody could be happy with is to rename "global" to
"private" and use "global" later for memory usually stored within system
accessible memory (be it VRAM or system RAM if keeping SVM in mind).
glsl "local" memory is memory only accessible within a function, while SPIR-V
"local" memory is memory accessible within the same workgroup.

v2: rename local to function as well
v3: rename vtn_variable_mode_local as well

70be9afccb nir: link time opt duplicate varyings
If we are outputting the same value to more than one output
component rewrite the inputs to read from a single component.

This will allow the duplicate varying components to be optimised
away by the existing opts.
