On MacOS/Apple/Dawin you can only get MESA to forward the GL funtions to
the systems OpenGL.framework or run SWRast directly. There is no way to use a gallium driver, even if they have been compiled.
The two gallium drivers of interest are SWRast and Zink, as the rest are hardware drivers and not relavent on MacOS.
The code changes add a new define GLX_USE_APPLE. This is used in combination with the existing GLX_USE_APPLEGL.
GLX_USE_APPLEGL calls the systems OpenGL.framework, Apple's OpenGL.
GLX_USE_APPLE calls the non-system OpenGL code, i.e. Gallium, hence the subtle naming difference. Apple systems are still used, just not the GL ones.
When GLX_USE_APPLE is defined the code will use the DRI/gallium driver sub-system so SWRast and Zink can selected at runtime on MacOS.
This also allows Zink to be run on MacOS, once it is fixed up.

GLX is a means to the end of direct rendered GL, really. Our indirect
protocol support has been largely untouched forever, anyone who wants it
can find it in amber. We're not going to drop or intentionally break it
(indirect support), but we're also not going to try super hard to
preserve its quirks anymore.
xserver has typically supported GLX 1.4 since 2009 (xserver 1.8, ad5c0d9e)
and unconditionally since 2016 (xserver 1.19, 36bcbf76). Assuming GLX
1.3 internally will let us fix some GLX drawable lifetime issues.

The config matched by visual ID will have the right fbconfig ID set, you
don't need to go looking for it, so long as you look in the list of
fbconfigs as opposed to the list of visuals (which do not have
GLX_FBCONFIG_ID filled in).
It's sort of broken that we have two lists here, when the only real
distinction is that glXChooseVisuals needs to filter out non-window-
capable configs from its view. That's a bigger cleanup for another day.

This commit fixes apps using the following sequence:
1. XCreateWindow(dpy) -> win
2. glXCreateContextAttribsARB(dpy, ...) -> ctx
3. glXMakeCurrent(dpy, win, ctx)
4. glXQueryDrawable(dpy, win, GLX_FBCONFIG_ID, ...)
glXQueryDrawable returned 0 (while correctly returning a valid
GLXFCONFIG_ID for other types of drawables).
This commit adds the same dance as driInferDrawableConfig to get
the GLX visual from the Window, and then the GLXFBCONFIG_ID of
this visual.
This fixes:
* piglit: glx-query-drawable --attr=GLX_FBCONFIG_ID --type=WINDOW
* Maya which uses the config ID from step 4 as an input to
glXChooseFBConfig.

We'd like to avoid __glXInitialize as much as possible since it involves
taking a global lock. This means converting internal APIs to operate as
much as possible in terms of something other than a Display *, since if
that's all you have then you're forced to call __glXInitialize to get to
the glx_display.

This code would work for GLXWindows but not for bare Windows, which I
guess you could argue is a server bug but which we can fix on the client
side with a little effort. We change __glXGetDrawableAttribute to
additionally return false if we failed to find the requested attribute
(which is safe, all the other callers discard the return value). Then
when inferring the fbconfig, if the attribute wasn't found, we ask for
the window attributes to find the visual ID and use that to find the
fbconfig.

glx: Prepare driFetchDrawable for no-config contexts
We were hoping it would return true if the drawable could actually be
looked up. It wasn't, so that didn't go very well. With the most recent
update to <GL/glxext.h> glXQueryGLXPbufferSGIX (correctly) returns void,
so there's no longer anything else besides driFetchDrawable that depends
on the return value from __glXGetDrawableAttribute.

Define GLX_USE_APPLEGL, as config/darwin used to, to turn on specific code to
use the applegl direct renderer
Convert src/glx/apple/Makefile to automake
Since the applegl libGL is now built by linking libappleglx into libGL, rather
than by linking selected files into a special libGL:
- Remove duplicate code in apple/glxreply.c and apple/apple_glx.c. This makes
apple/glxreply.c empty, so remove it
- Some indirect rendering code is already guarded by !GLX_USE_APPLEGL, but we
need to add those guards to indirect_glx.c, indirect_init.c (via it's
generator), render2.c and vertarr.c so they don't generate anything
Fix and update various includes
glapi_gentable.c (which is only used on darwin), should be included in shared
glapi as well, to provide _glapi_create_table_from_handle()
Note that neither swrast nor indirect is supported in the APPLEGL path at the
moment, which makes things more complex than they need to be. More untangling
is needed to allow that

These calls allowed Xlib to use a custom memory allocator, but Xlib has
used the standard C library functions since at least its initial import

allocator. The functions now just add extra overhead. Replacing them
will make future Coccinelle patches simpler.
