56f5fba723 config: move main_file and description to NMConfigData
Every reload might change the main_file and description.
Move those properties to NMConfigData.

3714a6c7bd config/trivial: rename variables for configuration file
The name "nm_conf_path" and cli.config_path" were not consistent.
Rename them both to "config_main_file".

3bfb163a74 all: consistently include config.h
config.h should be included from every .c file, and it should be
included before any other include. Fix that.

(As a side effect of how I did this, this also changes us to
consistently use "config.h" rather than <config.h>. To the extent that
it matters [which is not much], quotes are more correct anyway, since
we're talking about a file in our own build tree, not a system
include.)

3a54d05098 libnm-core: change all mac-address properties to G_TYPE_STRING
Make all mac-address properties (including NMSettingBluetooth:bdaddr,
NMSettingOlpcMesh:dhcp-anycast-addr, and NMSettingWireless:bssid) be
strings, using _nm_setting_class_transform_property() to handle
translating to/from binary form when dealing with D-Bus.

Update everything accordingly for the change, and also add a test for
transformed setting properties to test-general.

357efd26e4 libnm-core: include ETH_ALEN/INFINIBAND_ALEN defines in nm-utils.h
Include <linux/if_ether.h> and <linux/if_infiniband.h> from
nm-utils.h, to get ETH_ALEN and INFINIBAND_ALEN, and remove those
includes (as well as <net/ethernet.h> and <netinet/ether.h>, and
various headers that had been included to get the ARPHRD_* constants)
from other files where they're not needed now.

35f36ba4c3 libnm-core, etc: drop type-based hwaddr funcs, port to length-based ones
Drop the arptype-based nm_utils_hwaddr funcs, and rename the
length-based ones to no longer have _len in their names. This also
switches nm_utils_hwaddr_atoba() to using a length rather than an
arptype, and adds a length argument to nm_utils_hwaddr_valid() (making
nm_utils_hwaddr_valid() now a replacement for nm_utils_hwaddr_aton()
in some places, where we were only using aton() to do validity
checking).

3ddce74803 libnm: rename NetworkManager.h and NetworkManagerVPN.h
"NetworkManager.h"'s name (and non-standard capitalization) suggest
that it's some sort of high-level super-important header, but it's
really just low-level D-Bus stuff. Rename it to "nm-dbus-interface.h"
and likewise "NetworkManagerVPN.h" to "nm-vpn-dbus-interface.h"

8537db959c settings: use nm_log_info/warning() in settings plugins
Remove the PLUGIN_PRINT() and PLUGIN_WARN() macros and use the
standard NM logging functions instead.

Also changed PLUGIN_PRINT("error: ...") to nm_log_warn("...") in
places.

f762fa58d6 ifupdown: recalculate unmanaged specs on interface change (debian #707070)
If a kernel interface changes its MAC address, and NM is not
supposed to manage that interface, ifupdown needs to notice
that MAC address change and tell NM that the unmanaged devices
have changed, so that NM continues to not touch the device
after the MAC has changed.

a37051127e ifupdown: fix naming confusion in plugin hash tables
well_known_interfaces -> eni_ifaces, since it's a hash of any
interfaces read from /etc/network/interfaces.

well_known_ifaces -> kernel_ifaces, since it's a hash of any
network subsystem interface the kernel knows about

b2c6709690 ifupdown: clarify name of connections hash
'iface_connections' is really the list of all NMIfupdownConnections
known to the plugin, read from /e/n/i and hashed by block name. Since
ifupdown doesn't store anything *except* connections from /e/n/i,
just rename it to 'connections' to reduce confusion with the
well_known_interfaces and well_known_ifaces hashes.

0186330a4b settings: use NMConfig directly rather than reparsing NetworkManager.conf
Add some new API to NMConfig so that NMSettings and its plugins can
use NMConfig to look up values rather than reparsing the config file
themselves.

Also, move the no-auto-default cache from NetworkManager.conf to
$NMSTATEDIR/no-auto-default.state, so NM isn't rewriting its own
config file at runtime.

They can just call nm_config_get() now to get the config, and
nm_config_get_path() to get its path.

08f04466e8 all: remove more pointless NULL checks
GObject creation cannot normally fail, except for types that implement
GInitable and take a GError in their _new() method. Some NM types
override constructor() and return NULL in some cases, but these
generally only happen in the case of programmer error (eg, failing to
set a mandatory property), and so crashing is reasonable (and most
likely inevitable anyway).

So, remove all NULL checks after calls to g_object_new() and its
myriad wrappers.

2510c617ec libnm-util: add ether_ntoa/ether_aton-like utility methods
nm_utils_hwaddr_ntoa() and nm_utils_hwaddr_aton() are like
ether_ntoa()/ether_aton(), but handle IPoIB too.

nm_utils_hwaddr_atoba() is like _aton() but returns a GByteArray,
since that's what's wanted in many places.

Also remove nm_ether_ntop() and replace uses of it with
nm_utils_hwaddr_ntoa().
