libnm: add libnm/libnm-core (part 1) This commit begins creating the new "libnm", which will replace libnm-util and libnm-glib. The main reason for the libnm-util/libnm-glib split is that the daemon needs to link to libnm-util (to get NMSettings, NMConnection, etc), but can't link to libnm-glib (because it uses many of the same type names as the NetworkManager daemon. eg, NMDevice). So the daemon links to only libnm-util, but basically all clients link to both. build: refine the NETWORKMANAGER_COMPILATION define Note that: - we compile some source files multiple times. Most notably those under "shared/". - we include a default header "shared/nm-default.h" in every source file. This header is supposed to setup a common environment by defining and including parts that are commonly used. As we always include the same header, the header must behave differently depending one whether the compilation is for libnm-core, NetworkManager or libnm-glib. E.g. it must include <glib/gi18n.h> or <glib/gi18n-lib.h> depending on whether we compile a library or an application. For that, the source files need the NETWORKMANAGER_COMPILATION #define to behave accordingly. Extend the define to be composed of flags. These flags are all named NM_NETWORKMANAGER_COMPILATION_WITH_*, they indicate which part of the build are available. E.g. when building libnm-core.la itself, then WITH_LIBNM_CORE, WITH_LIBNM_CORE_INTERNAL, and WITH_LIBNM_CORE_PRIVATE are available. When building NetworkManager, WITH_LIBNM_CORE_PRIVATE is not available but the internal parts are still accessible. When building nmcli, only WITH_LIBNM_CORE (the public part) is available. This granularily controls the build.

libnm: use macro and designated initializers for NMVariantAttributeSpec I think initializing structs should (almost) be always done with designated initializers, because otherwise it's easy to get the order wrong. The problem is that otherwise the order of fields gets additional meaning not only for the memory layout, but also for the code that initialize the structs. Add a macro NM_VARIANT_ATTRIBUTE_SPEC_DEFINE() that replaces the other (duplicate) macros. This macro also gets it right to mark the struct as const.

libnm-core: fix and cleanup validation of WPS-method for Wi-Fi P2P setting The check for Wi-Fi P2P's wps-method was not correct. While at it, move the logic to validate WPS-method flags in an utility function.

This means we're constantly converting back and forth internally, but this is just a stepping stone on the way to the full GDBus port, and all of that code will go away again later.

libnm-core: change map-of-string properties to G_TYPE_HASH_TABLE Change all DBUS_TYPE_G_MAP_OF_STRING properties to G_TYPE_HASH_TABLE, with annotations indicating they are string->string. Not much outside libnm-core needs to changed for this, since DBUS_TYPE_G_MAP_OF_STRING was already represented as a hash table. (One change needed within libnm-core is that we now need to copy the hash tables in get_property(), or else the caller will receive a reffed copy of the object's own hash table, which we don't want.)

Notably, this means they are now refcounted rather than being copied. Update the rest of NM for the changes. The daemon still converts SSIDs to GByteArrays internally, because changing it to use GBytes has lots of trickle-down effects. It can possibly be changed later.
